The Associated Press reports (via The Austin American Statesman) that U.S. combat deaths in Iraq have reached 3,620.
This comes on the day that 47 Republican Senators (including the disgraced David Vitter) stood in lock-step with the Bush administration in refusing to end this disastrous war that has made al-Qeada stronger.
At least 74 Louisiana residents are among those soldiers who have died in this unprovoked war of choice.
The American public no longer supports this war.
When will our so-called leaders catch up with their constituents on this, the single greatest issue facing the country today?
